About the positions

We are seeking passionate and qualified Quran Instructors, both male and female, to teach Tajweed, Maqamat, Hifdh, and Ijazah programs. The ideal candidates will be well-versed in Quranic sciences, with expertise in recitation, memorization, and Islamic pedagogy. Instructors should be able to deliver comprehensive lessons that cater to students of all ages and proficiency levels, helping them master the Quran with proper pronunciation, melody, and retention while adhering to professional standards.

As a Quran Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in various aspects of Quranic education. This includes teaching students the rules of Tajweed for precise and correct recitation, guiding them through the different Maqamat (melodic modes) to beautify their recitation, helping with Hifdh (memorization) of the Quran, and providing Ijazah programs for students aiming to achieve certification in recitation or memorization.

Your role will be to nurture each student’s connection with the Quran, fostering both their technical skill and spiritual development. We are looking for instructors who are patient, dedicated, and able to create a supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students at different levels, from beginners to advanced, and will be able to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Instructors will be expected to monitor progress regularly, provide feedback, and tailor lessons to ensure that every student reaches their full potential.

Responsibilities

‍

• Teach Quranic recitation, ensuring students apply the correct Tajweed rules, including articulation points and proper pronunciation.
• Instruct students in the art of Quranic Maqamat, helping them enhance their recitation with traditional melodic modes.
• Guide students through the Hifdh (memorization) process, ensuring accuracy and retention of Quranic verses.
• Lead Ijazah programs for students seeking certification in Quranic recitation (Tajweed) or memorization (Hifdh).
• Create structured and engaging lesson plans tailored to the student’s level and progress.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that promotes a love for the Quran and its recitation.
• Stay current with Quranic pedagogical methods and advancements in teaching techniques.
• Maintain records of student progress and report to administration as required.

Qualifications

‍

• Ijazah in Quranic recitation (Tajweed) and/or memorization (Hifdh) from a recognized authority.
• Strong knowledge of the rules of Tajweed and experience teaching these rules to students.
• Proficiency in teaching Maqamat and an understanding of how to integrate melodic recitation with proper Tajweed.
• Experience teaching Quran memorization (Hifdh) with a focus on accuracy and retention.
• Ability to teach both children and adults, adapting methods to suit the student’s level.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Experience in teaching both in-person and online classes is a plus.
• Dedication to upholding Islamic values and ensuring a positive, respectful learning environment.
