It all began in 2010, sparked by the shared vision of two ambitious brothers, Ilyaas and Yusuf. Their journey wasn't ordinary; born and raised in the UK, they ventured far from home, immersing themselves in Quranic seminaries in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Sacrificing their secular careers and traditional studies, they were driven by a singular goal: to master the art of Quran recitation and bring this specialized knowledge back to their homeland. Their mission was clear - to make the noble art of Quranic recitation accessible and relatable to the local community, especially to those for whom Arabic was not a native language.
El Badr began modestly, a small Quran tuition service intended for friends and family. But as word spread about their unique teaching style - a blend of traditional Quran learning systems tailored for an English-speaking audience - their reputation grew.
