The Maqamat course at El Badr Institute is an exclusive and specialized program designed to immerse students in the art of Maqamat – the melodic modes used in Quranic recitation. This course offers a unique exploration into the realm of tonal variations and their application in enhancing the emotional and spiritual resonance of Quranic recitation. Maqamat in Quranic recitation is to the use of different melodic scales in vocal performances, each carrying a distinct mood and coloration that amplifies the impact of the recited verses. Other important courses we provided are Hifz program & Tajwid courses.
Enrollment in the Maqamat course requires students to have a good level of proficiency in Tajweed and to have completed the Khatmah of the Quran. These pre requisites ensure that students already possess a solid foundation in Quranic recitation and understand the basic principles of Tajweed, which are essential for mastering the advanced techniques taught in the Maqamat course.
Before commencing the course, students may be assessed on their recitation skills, including their ability to apply basic Tajweed rules and their overall fluency in recitation.
