The Tajweed course at El Badr Institute is a detailed and immersive program designed to teach the proper recitation of the Quran. Tajweed, which literally means 'to improve, involves the application of specific rules for pronouncing the words of the Quran in the way they were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Also provide hifz courses in our hifz academy.

Course pre-requisite

Before enrolling in the Tajweed course, students undergo an acceptance assessment to evaluate their current level of Quranic recitation and understanding of Arabic pronunciation. This assessment ensures that each student is placed at the appropriate starting point in our Tajweed program, allowing for a customized learning experience.

The assessment focuses on the student’s ability to pronounce Arabic letters accurately, their familiarity with basic Tajweed rules, and their overall fluency in recitation. Students with no prior knowledge of the Arabic alphabet or Tajweed will start from the basics, while those with some background will begin at a more advanced level.

This prerequisite stage is crucial as it sets the tone for the student’s learning journey, ensuring that they receive instruction that is tailored to their specific needs and level of understanding. It also provides an opportunity for the instructors to understand the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, allowing for a more focused and effective teaching approach.
