Alhamdulillah, following the successful event in London, Al Haramain Institute, in collaboration with El Badr Institute UK, recently hosted another enriching and intensive Tajweed course at Manchester University Technical College. This educational endeavour was primarily organized by Al Haramain Institute, with the invaluable contribution of Ustadh Ilyaas Badr, the Director of El Badr Institute UK, as the lead instructor.

The focus of this session was on Shaykh al-Jamzûri’s esteemed primer text in Tajweed, 'Tuhfatul Atfaal'. This course was not just an educational session; it represented a significant milestone in the initiation of a comprehensive Tajweed curriculum known as the Science of Tajweed. Emphasizing the importance of mastering foundational texts, or mutün, in the initial stages of Tajweed study, the course centered around the essential teachings of 'Tuhfatul Atfaal'.

The students’ dedication and focus were particularly noteworthy. Their deep involvement in understanding and grasping the intricacies of this key text laid a strong foundation for their continued exploration in the Science of Tajweed. The course's success was a reflection of Ustadh Ilyaas Badr’s exceptional teaching skills and his ability to convey complex concepts with clarity and depth.

Al Haramain Institute’s initiative to bring this course to Manchester University Technical College was driven by a commitment to spread knowledge of Tajweed. The
collaboration with El Badr Institute UK and the expertise of Ustadh Ilyaas Badr enriched the course, making it a unique and fruitful learning experience for the students.

MashaAllah TabarakAllah, the enthusiasm and commitment shown by the students were inspiring. As Al Haramain Institute, in collaboration with El Badr Institute UK, continues to expand the Tajweed curriculum, this event stands as a testament to their joint dedication to promoting the Science of Tajweed.

We are grateful for the overwhelming response and eagerness to learn demonstrated by the students. May Allah (SWT) accept our collective efforts and enable us to continue serving as a beacon of knowledge in the study and preservation of the Quran. The success of this course in Manchester is a promising indicator of the bright future of Quranic studies in the UK, underpinned by the collaboration of institutes dedicated to Islamic education.
